Villa Alcornoque

The villa sits on a slope of cork oaks and umbrella pines above the coast road, reached by a private track. The garden drops in stone terraces toward the sea, and the pool runs along the lower edge, long and narrow, with a pale travertine surround. Beyond the trees, the water shows in bands of blue, and the coast toward Estepona is visible on clear days.

The house is built of white render and dark timber, with deep eaves that shade the terraces. Inside, a double-height living room has a stone floor, a long sofa and a fireplace at one end. The kitchen opens to a covered dining terrace with a table for ten. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms are split between the two floors, and the main suite has a private terrace facing the sea.
