Piso Girona

The apartment is on the first floor of a narrow house in the old town of Girona, close to the river Onyar and the painted facades that line it. The street is steep and cobbled, and the cathedral, the Jewish quarter and the bridges are within a few minutes on foot. The windows look across the water to the houses on the other bank, and the sound of the river carries up at night.

Inside, the apartment is small and quiet, with white walls, stone details and floors of old tile. The living room has a sofa, a table for four and a window over the river; the kitchen is along one wall, compact and well equipped. Two bedrooms and one bathroom sit at the back. The apartment is on a pedestrian street, so the mornings are silent apart from the river and the bells.
