Casa Ronda

The house stands at the end of a white street on the edge of Ronda, where the town gives way to the Guadalevín valley. A terrace runs along the back, with a low wall and a view across the fields and the distant sierra. The garden below holds lavender, rosemary and a few olive trees, and the famous bridge over the gorge is a fifteen-minute walk.

Inside, the house is white and calm, with tiled floors, shuttered windows and a sitting room that opens to the terrace. The kitchen is simple and well equipped, with a table by the window. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the same floor, and a small study holds a desk facing the valley. The house is cool in summer and quiet at night.
