Casa Llanes

The house sits on a small rise outside Llanes, with fields falling toward the sea and a line of hedges along the lane. The coast here is green and broken, with small beaches between cliffs, and the Picos de Europa stand behind the village. The garden is planted with hydrangeas, apple trees and a stretch of lawn. A covered porch runs along the south side, with a table and benches.

Inside, the rooms are light and simply furnished, with white walls, wooden floors and a fireplace in the sitting room. The kitchen is large and at the centre of the house, with a long table and a door to the porch. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are upstairs, two of them facing the sea. The beach at Toró is a short drive, and the town is ten minutes away.
